Memorializing Lives through Lasting Creations

At Luz Eterna our mission is to provide distinctive, heartfelt creations that celebrate the eternal light of those who have passed.

Founded by artist Lieuwke Loth, our studio is driven by a passion for unique artistry and a commitment to quality and compassion, with a signature blend of modern design and meticulous craftsmanship.

Lieuwke Loth’s artistic journey :

After graduating from The Hague’s Academy of Arts in 2001, she began crafting bronze sculptures in 2004, later pioneering laser-cut steel art in 2009—transforming her lifelong drawings into striking art pieces that elevate gardens and spaces.

Yet her true metamorphosis began in 2002, when the sudden loss of her mother left her adrift in sorrow, silencing her creativity. From this darkness emerged stark black ink drawings, a fragile bridge back to art. She felt she was ready for a next step in her art, but was looking for guidance and another technique.

While searching for a grave monument to honor her mother, fate led her to a bronze foundry of an artist. Stepping inside, she felt an electric clarity: This is where I belong. For two years, she immersed herself in the ancient craft of bronze casting, creating her first sculptures.

The perfect memorial for her mother became both a tribute and a revelation.

Though she once hesitated to dedicate her time to creating memorial art—her grief still too raw—she did choose to bring her art to the art world & art lovers, via galleries, sculpture gardens and her own exhibitions, her art was purchased by International customers all over the world.

Now, she returns to where it began: crafting art for life’s most profound transition—the journey & the transition of a beloved one to the next phase.

Her collaborations breathe new depth into remembrance
